UPDATE ON SWEET SHERRI

Hi everyone, I have talked to Bill & he gave me permission to let you all know that Sherri is in the hospital. She had severe pain in her back last Sat. and after many tests & exploritory surgery, they found she had a bowel restriction that was causing her problems. She is in ICU right now, and will be in the hospital for several weeks.The prognosis is very good- it is just vital she rests and heals. PLEASE NOTE- this IS NOT from her plastics nor the pneumonia- it is a result of her bowel kinking & loss of blood flow.They don't know why it happened- it just did! Due to her Drs. wishes she isn't allowed ANY visitors, at this time, other than Bill & children. Believe me, I'd camp out to be there for her, but it isn't allowed. ALSO- NEWBIES, WANNA BEES AND NEW POST OPTS- PLEASE DON'T LET THIS SCARE YOU- IT JUST IS A VERY RARE THING THAT HAPPENED TO SHERRI. IT DOESN'T MEAN IT WILL EVER HAPPEN TO YOU- SO DON'T FREAK OUT- IT WOULD BREAK HER HEART & MINE IF IT DID. I promise I will keep you all posted on how she is- just please keep her & her family in your prayers.I have offered to help with transportation and to do errands, anything to help out. Tiffany has her hands full with being the support/help for Bill, the death of her hubby's grandma on the 4th, her job, and her young family- so please keep her in your thoughts & prayers. If you'd like to send a card here is the address to send it to. I know a gas card or fast food/resturant card would help out Tiff alot. Thank you so much, Ellen, for the update on Sherri. I know she is in God's hands, and she will be just fine....we just need to continue to pray for her healing. I know she will heal quickly. Please pass on my well wishes. I will try to get something in the mail later this weekend, but she already has a card on the way now!

THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION... I AM A NEWBIES AND IT IS SCARY..BUT LIKE YOU SAID THESE THINGS HAPPEN....THIS HAPPENED TO MY MOM TOO SHE WAS 82 SHE CAME THRU IT FINE IT JUST TOOK TIME..LIKE YOU SAID TO LET IT HEAL....OH AND I WANT TO INTRODUCE MYSELF I AM LUCY BILTZ I LIVE IN WARSAW..AND I JUST MADE MY APPOINTMENT FOR ST V'S INTINAL CONSULT FOR NOVEMBER 15TH..I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THIS STARTED I SHOULD HAVE STARTED YEARS AGO.. Welcome to the Indiana Forum Lucy! I live in Wabash and had my surgery at St. V's on Sept. 27. It went great and I feel great...YOU will love it there! Any idea who your doc will be? Who is your consult with? Keep posting and keep in touch! hugs, Janene
